THE PRINCE HOTEL - ALL IN

From 1937 The Prince Hotel has always known how to throw one hell of a party…

For many years, the Prince has been St Kilda’s spirit animal.

The Prince was the first ever venue in Melbourne to truly embrace and celebrate the queer community. This iconic venue has been home to many since 1937.

The refurbISHMENT of The Prince presents many exciting possibilities. We had the pleasure of planning a passionate delivery that was delightfully saucy, sleek & stylish - yet refined.

a night that reflected the princes’ rich history & decadent era’s of exploration.

Digging up the history of the Prince we curated an evening that matched the makeover of the main venue and its siblings (The Deck, The Band room, The Dining Room, The Public Bar & Little Prince Wine) for The Prince Hotel - A St. Kilda landmark, which recently re-launched.

-

Alluring, glamourous, and grimy. This particular evening we worked collaboratively with The Style Co & The Prince Hotel to boost THE VENUES brand exposure and further cement itself in Melbourne's hospitality scene AS THE ST KILDA ICON THAT IT IS. A serious class act.

when coming up with the creative brief for the princes’ star gem - ‘The dining room’ Amy Vaughan said “think If ‘The Box - London’ fused with ‘An underground New York City Baz Luhrmann inspired Jazz Club’.

To execute the vision - we cast a collective of unique cabaret and burlesque acts, gender bending hosts and multiple live musicians and DJ’s. To paint the perfect picture;

  • Overflowing champagne towers

  • Sequin slips and sharp suede tuxedos

  • Soft-core nudity and gender expression

  • Endless exploration across all levels of the hotel

  • Custom made soundscape

A labyrinth of unrestricted passageways leading to intriguing moments around every corner… FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY.
